Celsius Scale
1. Ice Point = 00C
2. Steam Point = 1000C
3. Number of division in between these points = 100
Fahrenheit Scale
1. Ice Point = 320C
2. Steam Point = 2120C
3. Number of division in between these points = 180
Celsius–to–Fahrenheit Conversion Formula: x 0C X 9/5 + 32 = 0F
Kelvin Scale
It is theoretical scale in which the value can be obtained simply by adding 273 to the Celsius scale. The zero Kelvin on the scale is called the absolute zero as most of the gases liquefy before absolute zero is reached. This is equivalent to – 2730 C.
